Almost...but not quite

This morning E and I were playing a video game and I told him after this part we are going to turn it off. So it came time to turn it off and I said:

M: Okay now it is time to turn it off.
E: No.
M: Yes remember I already told you.
E: Jesus says.
M: What?
E: Jesus says you have to listen to your mommy and daddy.
M: That's right!
E: So you have to listen to me and play.

Almost got it! Soooo close.

Circus School

Today after I picked up E from school we were driving home when he say several of the inflatable slides outside of one of the elementary schools. So E says:

E: I want to go ride rides.
M: We can't go there you don't go to that school.
E: Why?
M: B/c that is not your school. You don't go there so we can't go there.
E: B/c that is the circus school!

The DVD we have in the car is JoJo's circus and the epsiode is JoJo goes to clown school so since he saw the inflatables and figured it must be a circus. Makes perfect sense to me! Hahaha!

Nighttime Prayer

So tonight E was saying his prayers and when he was finished I said and keep daddy safe (J is out of town tonight) and E said and Jesus safe and God safe. Praise the Lord! Amen. I just couldn't help but smile! So cute!!!

Dance Baby Dance

E loves music and recently when we went to my dads house for our weekly visit he found a big collection of dads CD's of the oldies. So E puts one and he and starts to dance. I'm not sure where he got his dance moves but they sure are interesting to watch. Then he and dad both started dancing and did so for about 15 minutes! It was so cute!! I wish I would have had my video camera!

E's House

Today E got to go to his grandparents house to spend the weekend which he loves to do! J's mom built him a little playhouse in their backyard recently although this is the first time E has been down since she go it all built. So today he was outside playing w/some of the neighbor kids and I guess he got tired of them and said "I'm going home" and went in the playhouse and shut the door. After he did this one of the little boys said "E is cranky". E opens up the door and sticks his head out and says "E's not cranky!" Oh I wish I could have been there to see this!
