Dawn's Meme
Okay I know this was supposed to be on Thursday so just pretend it still is!
1.What is the worst meal you've ever had? When I was in like 7th grade I went w/my boyfriend and his parents to some place to eat(don't remember where) and we had chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes w/the peel mixed in it and some other stuff. So after we ate we were driving to the lake and go around and around these curves and yeah I totally threw up in their van! Fun times. So the rest of the way home I got to sit in the front seat w/his dad w/a okay to throw up on blanket in my lap! So I don't know if this was the worst meal but it definitly had a really bad side affect on me!
2.The one place you could vacation every year. I would love to go to Disney World every year! I just think it is so fun and E just loved it!!
3.Five things that drive me crazy.
1 - when E says he is finished w/dinner and then 5 minutes later he goes to the pantry and says I want a snack
2 - people who chew w/their mouth open (especially w/gum)
3 - rude people
4 - people who park way to close to your car to where you can barely get the door open
5 - people who hit your car in the parking lot and then just drive off
4.Name someone from your past that makes you stop and think, "Hey, I wonder where they are and what they are doing?" A girl I was good friends w/in the 3rd grade. After that school year her and her family moved to California. I have tried to look her up but I don't know where she is at now.
5.What did you do today? Played the Wii w/E, took a nap, watched Meet the Robinson's w/E and J and that is about it. Lazy day!

5 Things
Okay so I have been tagged to list 5 things you didn't know about me and after this probably 2 you wish you still didn't. Hahaha! Here we go:
1. I had to have one my toenails removed b/c of getting to many ingrown toenails. Fun times having to get shots in my toe. Ouch!!! Side note: J also had the same exact toenail removed on the same foot. I used to say awww that is how you know we are meant to be. Yeah we are a weird family!
2. I have OCD when it comes to checking the locks and making sure the garage door is down. I will actually (no lie) open the door (to make sure the garage is down) and then shut it and then open it again and then shut it. Sometimes like 3 times. Yeah I don't know.
3.I am not a natural brunette. Ooooo shocker right. I am actually a natural blonde!
4. I took dancing from the time I was 5 until I was a sophomore in high school. I even competed in different groups for 8 of those years.
5. I have a very bad habit of picking the skin off my fingers. I promise it isn't as gross as it sounds. Okay well maybe it is. I have done this since I can remember.
Okay so everyone on my list has been tagged and did their list except Angela! So I am tagging Angela!!

Realizing it's no big deal
So the friday before last the preschoolers at E's school were going to have a graduation. I was so excited, I don't know why it was just preschool but I get very excited over the smallest things when it comes to my little cutie! So normally as I have said before E doesn't handle the parties at school very well. In fact this year we just kept having to come home so I wanted to warn him on the day of the graduation that the parents of all of the other kids would be coming today so I just wanted to let him know. So I figure it is fine. So J and I go up to the school only to find all the kids in E's class getting their little tassle hats on and E is in the back of the room huddled down and crying. So I try to help and we try talking to him and after about like 20 mintues he is okay. So I go outside and J stays w/him and then a couple of mintues later J comes out. After a couple of mintues here come all of the kids and E is the first one out and what happens he drops to the ground right outside the door and starts crying so J runs over and picks him up so they can continue. So bascially we figure it is all over and so we decide to leave. By this time I am just very upset and trying to hold it back so that E won't see. All of those upsetting emotions some from just being a mom to some from just frustration. I was more upset I think for him b/c he couldn't do it and I wanted him to be able to. J figured out that what happens is places like school he only expects there to be the kids and the teachers and when the parents all show up for parties and such it just throws him off. Now the realization sets in, later that day after I was done being upset J calls me into his office and said he had just read that Steven Curtis Chapman's daughter who was E's age had been killed. My heart dropped. Then you realize little things like a child missing his preschool (no less) graduation is nothing compared to that of a child not even being there to miss it in the first place. Sometimes you just need to be reminded that it's not what they can or can't do that should matter but the fact that you have them at all. Plus he could have cared less about the whole graduation thing.
E's daughter
Okay, I know the title gives it all away but I will tell the story anyway. So yesterday E and I were at Hobby Lobby (I love that store) and he had already been going on and on again about his invisible sister. Well we were looking at picture frames and he is talking to himself (nothing unusual) and then whoever he was talking to he all of a suddens says and this is my daughter (pointing to no one) and I said it's not possible for you to have a daughter honey. As the women standing next to us quietly laughs to herself. Where does he come up w/this stuff?
